'The Call of the Yeti' by Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding

Taking a break from the Zoo-Niverse, Howard organises a holiday in a log cabin deep in the woods. After hassling Vince, Naboo and Bollo to finish packing and get in the van, Howard takes the wheel, whilst trying to ignore the ninjas delivering Vince’s copies of ‘Cheekbone’ magazine every three hours. Arriving at their destination the gang find the ramshackle cabin covered in dust and cobwebs, its walls displaying mounted stuffed animal heads, including one of Bollo’s former friends (but he had it coming). While Howard lights a fire and gives Vince a presentation on the lifecycle of the frog, Naboo and Bollo go shopping for supplies in the local branch of ‘Shamansbury’s’; here they meeting fellow mystic Barry, who warns that the local yetis’ breeding season starts that night. Meanwhile, Howard and Vince meet the cabin’s owner, Kodiak Jack, a creepy trapper who takes a shine to Vince. When Jack offers to help Howard with his wildlife photos by trading a map to the lair of the yetis for a night with Vince, Howard readily agrees; unfortunately for Jack, after he has handed over the map, his amorous advances are quickly thwarted by Vince’s hair straighteners. Naboo and Bollo race back to the cabin to warn their friends, only to learn that they are too late: Howard has already set off to Piny Ridge to track down the yeti. With the aid of a ‘Cheekbone’ ninja who can drive, Vince, Naboo and Bollo race to save their friend; however, when they reach Piny Ridge they discover that Howard has already succumbed to the call of the yeti, and has turned into a vacuous hippie. The hypnotic song of the yeti quickly entrances Bollo, Naboo and Vince too – and if they don’t snap out of its spell soon, the yetis’ will have their way with them…
